Got up this morning, turned on the computer of doom. Got a message that there was no disk. Hrm. Reboot, try again, same thing. Make sure the CD tray is empty and unplug the external, still nothing. Crap. Get to the BIOS and there is no harddrive. None. I think I got a bad drive. [...]

Well it’s working better now. The USB was fixed with a new BIOS after a new Windows install. I didn’t let it auto install the drivers but went into the hardware manager and updated them manually.
